Terms of Use

Last updated 25 August 2026

These terms govern your use of klairlabs.com and its document generators, operated by Klairtech, India ("Klair Labs", "we", "us"). Klair Labs is the sister site of klair.in, built and run by the same company, hosting document generators beyond klair.in's India tax-and-payroll focus. By using the site you accept these terms.

1. What we provide

Klair Labs provides free, self-help document generators — currently an Affidavit Generator, a Power of Attorney Generator, an Indemnity Bond Generator, a Letter of Undertaking Generator and a Privacy Policy Generator (all drafted to Indian legal conventions, except the Privacy Policy Generator which supports India/EU/UK/US jurisdiction modules), plus a Declaración Jurada generator for Spanish-speaking users, with further languages and document types planned. Every document is assembled from the information you type, using standard drafting language. Some features (custom branding, unlimited saved records) require a paid Klair Pro subscription, shared with klair.in. We may change, add or withdraw tools at any time.

2. Not legal advice — no attorney-client relationship

Klair Labs is a self-help document-drafting tool. It is not a law firm, does not practise law, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Filling in a form and downloading a PDF does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Klair Labs, Klairtech, or anyone associated with either.

Our tools produce a document in a standard, commonly used format and let you review the wording before you download it. They cannot know the specific facts of your situation, the receiving party's requirements, or the law of your particular state, province or country. Our tools are not restricted to users in any one country, and document-execution rules vary enormously between jurisdictions and change without notice — so we cannot and do not track or guarantee compliance with the specific rules that apply to you.

Before relying on any document you generate here, you are responsible for checking your own jurisdiction's requirements for that type of document, which commonly include: whether it must be printed on stamped or specially-issued paper, whether it must be signed before a notary public, oath commissioner, magistrate or other official, whether witnesses are required, and whether it must be registered or filed with a government office. Getting one of these wrong can mean the document is not accepted or not enforceable, however well the wording reads.

We make no warranty that any document is legally valid, enforceable, or fit for your particular purpose. For anything consequential — a court proceeding, a significant property or financial transaction, a dispute with another party, or anything where being wrong is expensive — have the document reviewed by a licensed attorney admitted in your jurisdiction before you sign or rely on it. In some jurisdictions (parts of the United States among them), only a licensed attorney may prepare certain legal documents for another person; this tool is intended for you to prepare your own document, and you are responsible for confirming that self-preparation is permitted for your situation where you are.

3. Your data and your documents

Documents you generate are produced in your own browser and are yours. We claim no ownership of your content and, as described in our privacy policy, the words you type into a document are not sent to us. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of what you put into a document and for what you do with it once generated.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Klair Labs to produce false, fraudulent or forged documents, to impersonate another person or entity, to swear or attest to something you know to be untrue, or to create records that misrepresent a transaction or fact that did not occur. Do not use the tools to provide document preparation as a paid service to third parties in a way that would require a licence you do not hold. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent access controls, or resell access to paid features except under a white-label licence agreed with us in writing.

5. Age, capacity and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is older, and have the legal capacity to execute the type of document you are generating. Klair Labs is a business and personal tool and is not directed at children.

6. International use and sanctions

Klair Labs is offered to a worldwide audience, but you may not access or use it if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or accessing from a country or region subject to comprehensive trade sanctions, or if you are on a restricted-party list under applicable export control or sanctions law. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any restrictions on the type of document you are generating or the purpose you are generating it for.

7. Accounts

An account is optional and, where used, is shared with klair.in — you sign in through a link emailed to you rather than a password. You are responsible for the security of that inbox. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.

8. Klair Pro — subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

9. Availability

We work to keep Klair Labs available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and free use carries no service-level commitment.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klair Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss, cost or penalty arising from a document being rejected, unenforceable, or otherwise not fit for its intended purpose because of a jurisdiction-specific requirement it did not meet. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which for most users, who use the tools for free, is nil.

11. Governing law

Klairtech is domiciled in India, and — regardless of where in the world you access Klair Labs from — these terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of India having exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Questions go to hello@klairtech.com.
